«Katrin» – Is a software intended for the use of video and still images as lighting design in theater, concerts or other events. The main functionality of media server’s is focused on the use of projection technology. Some key of the features:

• All of the functions can be controlled from virtually any lighting console, working with ArtNet protocol (In otherwise the use of additional equipment is required to convert DMX signals to ArtNet).
• Media server can simultaneously handle multiple output devices and can display images up to 16 layers of media content for each output and perform a variety of processing operations over displayed image.
• Media server works in the 3D coordinate system, which on one hand somewhat complicates the work with server, but will give you much more opportunities.
• Media server allow simultaneous operation of multiple servers to create a single large image, within the possibility of edge blending and synchronization of media servers between them.
• Media Server allow you to adjust the output image depending on the used in the projector lens and compensate for the distortions introduced by the lens shift.
• Additional facts, is the fact that the media server able to work with lighting consoles like the old type, which are not able to work with decimal values and will work only in percentage values. For this problem a special mode is created, which however, introduces some minor limitations.
• Media server allows the use of video and still images in different formats. You can use, such as AVI or MOV containing video encoded in MPEG2, MPEG4, Apple PhotoJPEG, Apple Animation or still images in a format BMP, JPEG, PNG … Since for image decoding used the library of FFmpeg project, the list is very wide. System requirements:

This software will only work on Apple computers with Intel processors. A operating system version must be 10.5 (Leopard) or higher. Another requirement is a ATI or Nvidia graphics card. On computers with Intel graphic program will not work.
